Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat

Theme-based display board activity on the paired state of Maharashtra and Sikkim was organized in school. The students of Std VI actively participated in this activity. The main motto of this activity was to highlight the rich heritage, culture and natural beauty of both the states and also to promote unity in diversity, reflecting the essence of the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat program.

Shiksha Saptah

Shiksha Saptah was organized in the school from 22^nd July 2024 to 28^th July 2024 to commemorate the 4^th Anniversary of National Education Policy (NEP). Numbers of activities were carried out on each day. The main motto behind this celebration was to reflect the reforms introduced by NEP 2020 and also to foster a spirit of collaboration and innovation among students, teachers educators, policy makers and stake holders in Education Centre and to celebrate the achievement gains over the last 4 years of NEP implementation.

10th International Yoga Day

10th International Yoga Day was organized in Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School on 21st June 2024. Various activities like Mass Yoga, Rhythmic Yoga, Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation etc. were conducted under the theme yoga for ‘Self and Society’. Various competitions like Drawing & Quiz competition were conducted to mark the occasion. The main motto to celebrate this day was to create awareness about the benefits of yoga and help the students to be stress free.

In-house session on Building Learning Environment and integrating with
Inclusive Education was organized in Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School,
Bezonbagh, Nagpur. The resource person for the In-house session was Ms.
Apurva Pande. The main motto to conduct such training session is to create
awareness among the staff of how to build a proper and congenial atmosphere for
learning and update themselves with the latest techniques of learning.

Constitution Day

Constitution Day was celebrated in school on 26th November 2023 as a mark of respect to
our constitution. Following activities ‘Read the Preamble’ online, Essay writing and Poster
Making were conducted under the said theme. Students of std. III to V participated in the
activities and paid their tribute to the Indian Constitution and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar
Father of the Constitution. The main motto to celebrate this Day is to make the students
aware about our constitution & follow the guidelines provided in the constitution.

Vigilance Awareness Week 2023 – 2024

“Vigilance Awareness Week” was observed in the school. Various activities like displaying banners, hoardings, posters, cartoons were conducted for the students under the said theme. Integrity pledge and e-pledge were administered by the students and staff members. Teachers, students & staff members were sensitized about the ill effects of corruption. The main motto to observe this week was to create awareness & vigilance among the students and sensitize them to be corruption free citizens.

Cyber Security 2023 – 2024

“Cyber Security Awareness” program was organised in school for the students of Std.V to X. Resource persons Mr. Sachet Shende and Miss Pooja Chandewar conducted this programme and gave tips on Cyber Security Cyber Safety measures to identify online threats and how to protect themselves from the cybercrime. The main motto behind arranging such awareness session in the school is to guide the students to save guard themselves and be vigilant from Cybercrime.

Commemoration Tree Plantation 2023-2024

Massive Tree Plantation Campaign called CBSE- One Child, One Plant Campaign was organised in the school for students to commemorate the 3rd Anniversary of NEP. Various programmes like Tree plantation drive, Power point presentation and
Group discussion were conducted to sensitize the students about the environment, harmful effects of deforestation, global warming etc. and to make them understand the importance of planting, nurturing and saving the trees.
